Your growth & operations leadership, fractional.

We embed in your SMB as your growth and operations leadership: direction and acquisition on one side, processes, teams and tools on the other. Priorities arbitrated, vendors coordinated, dashboards shared: enterprise-grade steering at SMB scale. Alongside SMBs in Toronto and across the GTA.

Why this changes everything

Without steering, good ideas sit idle.

Many SMBs have a decent strategy on paper, but it never moves: uncoordinated vendors, fuzzy priorities, missing KPIs, disconnected tools. Our role: move things forward, measure, arbitrate, at a pace your team can hold. Most of our leadership engagements start with a growth & operations audit: the diagnosis and the framed budget become the steering roadmap.

Who it's for

This service is for you if:

  • You have no marketing director in-house

You are the owner or the sales lead, and marketing is split across several vendors with no conductor. Nobody is managing the whole.

  • Your marketing team is stretched thin

Your in-house team is chasing day-to-day work, with no time to structure processes, tools and priorities. We come in as reinforcement, not replacement.

  • Your marketing numbers are unreadable

No clear dashboard, no reliable acquisition cost, no attribution. Before investing more, you need to see what is going on.

What you get

Marketing you can actually steer.

Start a project

No slide decks. Living artifacts: a shared roadmap, dashboards, documented processes. Your team and your vendors align on a single source of truth.

  • Marketing & sales diagnosis

An audit of your current organization and processes (acquisition, conversion, CRM, sales admin, reporting), the bottlenecks, the duplicated spend and the priority projects.

Our approach

Four steps, a sustainable pace.

No upheaval. We start with a diagnosis, set the priorities, install a rhythm (weekly check-in, monthly review) and put the tools in place. Steering becomes a habit, not an effort.

  1. 360° diagnosis
    01Weeks 1-2

    360° diagnosis

Interviews with leadership, marketing and sales. A hard look at CRM, ads and analytics data. We capture the real blockers, not the symptoms.

  2. Marketing roadmap and rituals
    02Weeks 2-3

    Roadmap & rituals

We build the quarterly roadmap and install the weekly check-in and the monthly review. Target KPIs and alert thresholds are defined.

  3. Marketing tooling and automation
    03Weeks 3-6

    Tooling & automation

Key tools set up or cleaned up, useful automations connected, the main shared dashboard built.

  4. Steady-state marketing steering
    04Ongoing

    Steady-state steering

Weekly check-in, monthly performance review, roadmap adjustments, vendor coordination. We stay in the conductor's seat for as long as it is useful.

What we believe

An SMB's marketing does not die from a lack of ideas. It dies from a lack of execution discipline. Our job is to hold the course, week after week, without drama and without vendor inflation.

FAQ

The questions we hear most.

  • Is this a replacement for hiring a CMO?

Better: we cover both roles, growth leadership and operations leadership, on a part-time basis (typically 2 to 4 days a month). For SMBs up to about 50 people, that is broader and more effective than one hire, for a fraction of a single executive's cost.

  • Do you work with our existing vendors?

Yes, and it is a strength. We orchestrate your SEO agency, freelancers, ads vendors and so on. If one of them is not up to standard, we tell you and help you decide.

  • What's the commitment?

An initial 3-month engagement (the time it takes to stabilize the diagnosis, the rituals and the tools), then quarterly renewals with no long lock-in. You take back the wheel when you are ready.

  • How is the retainer calculated?

The retainer depends on the complexity of your organization (number of vendors to coordinate, marketing and sales scope, maturity of your current tools). We send a detailed quote after the initial diagnosis; every engagement is scoped to fit.

  • What ROI can we expect?

Across our last 9 engagements, ROI turned positive by the third month (vendor savings, additional qualified leads, internal time freed up). Over 12 months, the median factor is 3x to 5x.
